I went to my old Key Club’s meeting this afternoon, and it was quite interesting…at least the 15 or so minutes after the meeting ended. My old Kiwanis advisor randomly asked me, out of the blue, when I turned 21, so I told her next year. And she was like, “you’re gonna have a lot of fun then.” Some of my (very innocent) friends were like, “what’s so fun about 21?” Her: “YOU GET TO DRINK!”

I was flabbergasted…like, I was speechless, but couldn’t stop laughing. She just kept going on and on about how much fun I would have drinking next year and how getting drunk is cool, and I was like, “uhhh, yeah, okay.” 

Thankfully I’m pretty close to her, cause otherwise that would have been very awkward for me LOL…but basically, she was saying how fun drinking was in front of 17yr. olds - now that’s awkward haha
